Junior Manager Internationalization (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • You are part of a small but agile internationalization team and plan and develop projects, events and campaigns with an international focus: from content creator visits to our games to media visits by international sports journalists and trips abroad.
  • You support the project management of all activities in Bayer 04 Leverkusen's international target markets and play an active part in the planning and implementation of events at home and abroad.
  • Whether home or away games, or highlights such as the European competitions and training camp trips. You always have the focus: How can we get our fans abroad get even more passionate about Bayer 04 and open up new target groups?
  • You thoughtfully implement contractually agreed content, projects and measures with existing partners and maintain a friendly and open manner working cross-culturally.
  • You are responsible for creating marketing presentations and internal reports and carry out quality control with the aim of continuously optimizing ongoing projects.
  • You will actively help with the organization and implementation of international trips for the professional team, our women's team and our youth teams thanks to a "hands-on" mentality and “can-do” attitude.
  • You will look after key international guests and visitors on our match days and at other events.

Your profile

  • You have ideally successfully completed commercial training in the field of marketing / communications and / or a degree in sports management, international management, marketing, business administration with a focus on marketing or tourism.
  • You have basic knowledge of strategic marketing and have already gained experience with international marketing campaigns and projects or have already successfully implemented them.
  • Whether it was a high school year in the USA, work and travel after school or a semester abroad during your studies: you have gained experience abroad and are cosmopolitan and keen to travel.
  • In addition to German, you speak English fluently. As a bonus, you also have Spanish, Portuguese or even Chinese under your belt.
  • You are social media savvy and are familiar with the common platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
  • You are confident in the entire MS Office suite, and are especially adept at PowerPoint in particular.
  • You have a great interest in football and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
  • You are looking forward to an exciting and dynamic working environment and have no problem with flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
